American Damascus
American Damascus knives are made from Damascus steel, which is distinguished by a special internal structure made from alternating layers of two or several sorts of steel. Individual layers are rigidly connected with one another, most frequently is that the method of so-called blacksmith welding. Damascus knives are usually made with 100-500 layers. With a mixture of varied sorts of steel, we achieve steel, which takes upon the simplest qualities of used steel.
